The Acquisition Analyst will play an integral role in the success of the Acquisition and Program Support group. The position requires a self-starter, flexible, and hard-charging consultant who is capable of excelling in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Specifically, he/she will be responsible for:
- Demonstrating proficiency in all life cycle phases of contracting, including the pre-award phase of contracting (acquisition planning, acquisition strategy, requirements development, solicitation preparation, support of source selections), and post award contract administration, as well as contract problem identification, analysis and resolution.
- Developing acquisition packages, including statements of work, cost estimates, contract line item structures, and evaluation criteria.
- Participating in the structuring of request for proposals (RFP) for complex technology procurements and developing all supporting documentation.
- Supporting development of Source Selection Authority level briefs, as well as preparation of evaluation documentation for follow-up briefings to Source Selection Authority.
- Providing acquisition planning and strategy development support.
- Providing acquisition management support, to include assisting in the development of acquisition management processes, contract review, deliverables tracking, and contractor performance assessments.
- Actively participating in scheduled and unscheduled in-progress reviews, meetings and briefings. Supporting the identification of program risks and controls.

REQUIRED SKILLS: |
- A minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in acquisition management or contract administration.
- Must possess a working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), agency specific regulations, and have current and demonstrated experience with DoD instructions and directives (DoD 5000.2).
- Ability to work comfortably with mid and senior level civilian/military personne.l
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree.
- Professional certification (CPCM, CFCM, CCCM) or completion of DAWIA Level I equivalent coursework (PM and/or Contracting).
- Outstanding communication skills.
