POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: |

The Staff Auditor II will play an integral role in the success of the Audit & Assurance Services group. Specifically, he/she will be responsible for:
- Serving as an experienced junior member of group auditors who are working to prepare audit programs, performing field work, preparing working papers, consolidating findings and preparing recommendations, and write audit reports.
- Assessing processes and or procedures for compliance with government standards, accounting principles, internal controls, and multi-tiered system application standards under supervision.
- Creating interrelationships between financial management requirement and automated solutions, considering the current system environment and the potential integration of added systems.

REQUIRED SKILLS: |
- Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree in accounting, business, information technology, or related field and/or equivalent experience.
- Active involvement in progressing toward professional certification (i.e. CPA) is necessary.

PREFERRED SKILLS: |
- Two to six years of audit and financial management experience.
- CPA, CIA, CISA, CMA, or other equivalent certification is desirable.
